Hey Precious Girls!
So, I have had a very interesting turn of events this break. My boyfriend who came home from army training broke up with me. It was totally and completely unexpected. We were really serious, but sometimes things don't always go as planned...obviously I'm hurt, but I have to move on. So...
But, this post is not about heartbreak. It's about quite the opposite: inspiration.
I had coffee with a dear friend of mine from high school yesterday and we got talking about dreams and goals. She is one of those go-get-your-dreams types of girls and is always fun to be around. She really inspired me to dream big and not to stop there. She inspired me to take steps toward pursuing my dreams! One of the most important steps in reaching for dreams is to simply write them down! Write down all those crazy things you have always wanted to do and thought would be impossible! You have to believe in yourself. I need to believe in myself.
This is a really appropriate time of year for this post because obviously we are very quickly approaching the new year. So, here is my challenge to you: write down your dreams and goals for next year. Maybe you want to perform better in school, become a makeup artist, pursue an acting or singing career, be a better mom, spend more time with family, move to a big city?....anything!
So here is my list for this year: (random order)
1. Continue to grow my blog and my youtube channel
2. Inspire girls and women to be confident
3. make the deans list the next 2 semesters
4. go to a makeup show
5. spend more time with my lil sis, Jaymie
6. Get to know some makeup artists
7. become a healthier version of myself (lose like 10-15lbs and tone up) every girl's goal haha
So tell me your goals! Let's encourage each other and chase our dreams together!
Lots of hugs and glue for broken hearts....
Your Dream Chaser,
Lindey

Christmas Wish/I-know-I'm-Getting-It-Cause-I-Picked-It-Out List
Hello Beautiful Ladies!!
I just wanted to share with you guys a few things that I know I'm getting for Christmas and a few things that I really want for Christmas! Maybe this will help you formulate your wish list or give you some ideas for friends!
Let's start with the things I know I'm getting because....well, I asked my mom for them and she told me to order it! haha So, here goes!
-Iwata Revolution HP-CR Airbrush
I just wanted to share with you guys a few things that I know I'm getting for Christmas and a few things that I really want for Christmas! Maybe this will help you formulate your wish list or give you some ideas for friends!
Let's start with the things I know I'm getting because....well, I asked my mom for them and she told me to order it! haha So, here goes!
-Iwata Revolution HP-CR Airbrush
Guess what this will be used for? AIRBRUSH MAKEUP!!! So exciting!! haha I've been researching this for months! I already own a compressor and a different airbrush that I use for cookie decorating, so I will use the same compressor, but obviously this airbrush for makeup and the other will remain for cookie decorating purposes. I wouldn't want to paint my face with food coloring....that stuff stains...lol
- Dinair Foundation in "Vanilla", "Olive Beige", and "Natural Beige" .25 oz. each
I have researched the foundations as well and I felt as though Diniar's foundations were moderately priced and would work well with my skin. Not to mention the fact that they INVENTED airbrush makeup. lol This foundation is not water proof, and is water based, so we will see how it works out! I'll be sure to let you guys know!
- Dinair Blush in "Peach Pink" .25 oz.
It doesn't look very pink in this picture, but it's the only one I could find. I don't have the guts to try airbrush eyeshadow and all just yet. I figure I'll get the basics down with foundation and blush before I move onto the more difficult areas. Oh, and I chose the smallest sizes of each just in case I don't like it..that way I don't waste like $25...no one wants to throw money away...especially when I have books to buy for next semester...yay! I just can't wait...
-$50 Gift Card to Ulta! My mommy knows me way too well! haha she told me..I think she was excited..When she bought it may very well have been the first time she stepped foot in a makeup store. My mom is a minimalist...she wears mascara, on days she feels like dressing up. lol I love her to death! Sometimes I wish I were like that...I would have alot more money, that's for sure! haha Anyways, on with the list!
OK, on to the things I WANT, but doubt I'll get! haha
- Urban Decay Book of Shadows III
I really liked the Alice in Wonderland Palette, but isn't available anymore except for people selling it on amazon and ebay for like $100 on up...sorry..not worth it..lol but this one is retails for $54! Maybe that Ulta gift card? haha I LOVE Urban Decay's eyeshadows. They have amazing pigmentation, the colors are gorgeous, what is not to like? Well..ok, my only complaint would be that I don't like the packaging of the eyeshadow primer potion..too hard to get every last bit of product out. I feel like it would be much better if it came in a squeeze tube, like Too Faced Shadow Insurance...ok, anyways..I want this palette.
- NYX lip pencils
I'm not sure exactly what colors, but from the reviews I have read they are a great product for the price. I currently only own ELF lips pencils and they aren't my favorite. I would like something more creamy, which I have read that these are great!
-NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils
I wish I could own all of them! The are just so much fun! I love all the bright colors. I own 6 of them right now, but I'd love to own a few more colors. They work really well as an eyeshadow base to add some more color and help your shadow stay on...
Well friends, I think that is about it. I'm sure there are many other things I would love, but I don't have time to type them all out. My Psychology book and caffeine are calling my name. My last final is tomorrow! I'll be posting much more over Christmas Break!
Until then, Merry studying and Happy Caffeine!

Ruby Red Nails for the Perfect Christmas Homecoming
Hey Girls!
Doesn't this color just make you happy?! It's GORGEOUS!!!
This color is called, "The Show Must Go On". It is from OPI's new Burlesque Collection.
So, I am an army girlfriend as some of you may know. And obviously this entails not seeing your loved one for long stretches of time. This time it has been about three months : ( BUT, He gets to come home for Christmas this year! : ) So, when I see him I want to look perfect from my hair to my toe nails. haha
He has mentioned before that he loves when I wear red nail polish. So, THIS is the polish I have my sights set on wearing when I see him again. haha I think it looks like Dorothy's ruby slippers, but on nails. It's so pretty! I plan on making a trip to a beauty store in the next couple days to pick it up! I'll definitely post some pictures for you guys!
You can also find this nailpolish on Amazon. Here is the link. I would buy it off here, but I don't have time. He comes home in one week! I'm so excited and I'm sure he will love my ruby red slipper nails. ; )
Lot's of love and hot red nails,
<3 Lindey
(You guys may think I'm a little crazy for having a nail color picked out to wear when he comes home, but trust me, when you have three months to think about how to make two weeks perfect you think of every last detail. lol )

Finals are upon me...
Hey guys! Well, it's going to be a crazy week. I have "reading day" tomorrow...delaying the inevitable pain of finals...not a fan. It's just more time for me to waste and feel bad because I didn't spend it studying. Oh well.
I am a business major so I have a micro-economics final and an accounting final as well as two General Education finals. General Warning: Never take an accounting class if you can avoid it.
Well, I probably won't be posting alot of other posts this week, but I will try to pick up next week!! God Bless and Merry Christmas everyone!!

Moroccanoil Hair Oil Treatment Light Review
I'm in love!....with a hair product!
Hey Lovely Friends!
So, I have been using Moroccanoil Hair Treatment for a while now and I am absolutely loving it. I have light, thin hair that tends to be extremely unmanageable. The last time I went to get a haircut the guy cutting my hair said, "I don't know how you deal with this cranky hair, if I were you I would have chopped it off by now!" I was like...did he seriously just say that? Anyways, he ripped out like half of my hair while trying to brush through it. It was not a pleasant experience. My hair tangles VERY easily and I have not been able to find a good de-tangling product...until now. I not only love Moroccanoil for the way it keeps my hair shiny and healthy, but it also works wonders as a de-tangler! I put it on the bottom half of my hair after a shower before I comb through it. This makes combing through my hair much easier! I have been loving it.
One of my friends has actually commented several times on how healthy and shiny my hair looks! : )
I have used this on my hair while it is dry and it works pretty well, but I do prefer to use it when my hair is wet.
This product will also cut the drying time of your hair by about 25%. I honestly don't know why this happens, but it does and I like it. : )
I bought mine off of Amazon for around $35. Otherwise you have to find a salon that sells the Moroccanoil line of products. I could not find a salon near me that sold it, so I bought it off the internet.
Summary: I love this product and I would suggest it for any girl who needs to bring health and shine back to her hair.
